travel is faith driven — 

when your dad in the early 80s decides to spend all his savings to travel from accra to eygelshoven — just so that you could have a better life. 

the awareness of these kind of things make you approach life a bit differently. 

his intentions were perhaps for me to go school/-  get a 9 to 5. 
marry — have children and call it a day. 
only for me to turn 20 and to leave from eygelshoven to japan — that’s where i met brendon and estelle. they changed my life forever. because of noah, i switched cities like it was nothing. from london to nyc — to los angeles and eventually, paris became part of the regular scheduled programming.

the boarding pass reminds me of the sacrifices made by my father. for others the boarding pass might just be a celebration and their gateway into a holiday.
